About us

Engagement

Each year, we ask our BTB team for suggestions on which social and cultural initiatives we can support - causes that are close to their hearts for various reasons.

Sponsorship of the Tennis Club Blau-Weiss Vaihingen-Rohr

Just like with the BTB, tradition is also a key focus at the Tennisclub Blau-Weiss Vaihingen-Rohr, which was founded in 1925. With around 670 members, the club is one of the largest in Baden-Württemberg. A strong emphasis on youth development is part of its philosophy, which is also an important topic for us as an IT company.

We are pleased to become a sponsor starting in 2025 at the suggestion of our colleague Corinne – contributing in a small way to supporting sports and the local community. Together, we aim to support the positive development of the club and create new opportunities for tennis enthusiasts of all ages.

Donations 2024 - to four passion projects.

The "Stückchen Himmel" daycare in Aracaju, Brazil, was founded by a friend of the family of our colleague Johannes. The project is primarily funded by the German support association Stückchen Himmel e.V., in which Johannes' parents are also involved.

The SoundÆffects choir of the Germania Chöre Eislingen – suggested by Verena, who actively sings here. The choir combines music with theater in musical productions and has two large projects planned for next year, which will be independently organized and funded.

Royal Rangers Vaihingen/Enz – our donation will make the children's camp fees more affordable and provide new equipment (tents, tools, etc.) – Felix has been volunteering as a team leader for many years.

Victim Support Berlin e.V. advises people affected by violence such as robbery, stalking, sexual, or domestic violence – John's partner is actively involved here. This year, the system with calendars, customer data, etc., has been fully digitized. With the support from BTB, the process could be completed, allowing the staff to focus entirely on counseling those in need.

Donation of 2023

At the initiative of our colleague Heiner, who has been volunteering with the DRK Kreisverband Stuttgart e.V. for many years, the donation will go to the "Kältebus" (Cold Bus) in Stuttgart. The Kältebus provides assistance to homeless individuals in need in the Stuttgart area. The bus operates from 10 PM to 2 AM, staffed by volunteers from the emergency services and social work, and it runs throughout the entire winter. The Kältebus is a project of the City of Stuttgart and the DRK Kreisverband Stuttgart e.V.
